This is Cool Bro, we found him in our hallway last night and I decided, after keeping him overnight in a jar, I'd like to keep him as a pet, so I cleaned out my old 5 gallon fish tank, shifted sand from our lot for no rocks, gave him a nice big sitting rock i got from redrock, and a few smaller, and a fake plant my fish once had, the light in the tank creates heat [and a lot of it] so he's fine via heat, at night his habitat light is one of my black lights, which as shown, makes him glow green, not as florescent as he does at night since there was light in the room when I took it but it's a good example, and I spend a good while catching a locust for him to chew on later tonight. He seems to really like his new home, he waddled around it a few times and moves places and climbed his little plant ball andhe seems real happy :'D
He is an Arizona Bark Scorpion, if mom allows it, I might go looking for another at night, or get one from a pet store so he/she has a buddy, but it all depends.
These scorpion are not fatal, but their sting packs a punch, causing nerve pain and numbness, it may be fatal to small children but teens and adults can handle it fine unless you're allergic, besides that the only thing that'll happen is you remembering the pain lol.
His name is Cool Bro.
ill be putting rocks in his shallow water dish so he doesnt risk drowning or anything
d'aawwwwww hes so cute x3 i have a pet scorpion too, but hes an emperor that i bought from a little pet store. his name's friday and hes a grumpy little teenager. xP i love him he so cute.
I was watching the show Infested last night, I saw a house that was infested with Arizona Bark Scorpions. You found him in your hallway? Have you checked for more?
Anyway, seems pretty cool to have a scorpion for a pet.
